Trial for taxi scheme in Winkleigh and Ashreigney 
A NEW taxi voucher scheme is to be trialled in Winkleigh and Ashreigney.
The scheme, which invites people to apply for a book of vouchers which can be used towards the cost of a taxi, is already successfully running in Bideford and Northam.
A limited number of voucher books will be available to households in Winkleigh and Ashreigney on a first come, first served basis.
Vouchers can be used towards the cost of journeys booked with Around & About Private Hire in Winkleigh, during January and February.
The project is being funded by Devon County Council as part of the Access to Services in Rural Torridge project.
